Madeline Petersen

I avoided cooking for years.

I couldn’t reconcile the amount of effort it seemed to require. How could something so universal demand so much creativity, planning, and work every single day? Most nights, I opted for takeout.

I finally decided I'd had enough. I was determined to become the home cook I always aspired to be, but planning meals and creating a grocery list took so long that I'd be worn out (and hungry) before I'd even left the house.

From that struggle, Grosch was born. It made getting started just easy enough, and the rest is history. It may never be effortless. But with Grosch, it's manageable.

It changed my life – I hope it changes yours too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What platforms does Grosch support?

Grosch works with recipes from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Substack, and most websites or blogs. Just paste the link, we'll handle the rest.

Do ingredients need to be in the caption for it to work?

Nope! Grosch finds the recipe for you and pulls the ingredients from the original source. No more "link in bio" scavenger hunts or commenting "RECIPE" to get the details.

What if ingredients are missing or wrong?

Grosch does its best, but you can always update the recipe card if something isn't right: title, ingredients, and tags are all editable.

Can I add recipes manually?

Yes! Whether it's from a cookbook or handwritten by your grandmother, you can add any recipe by entering the title and ingredients manually.

Can I share my grocery list?

Yes! You can share a clean text version of your list, organized by recipe or by aisle, straight from the app. Perfect for sending to the designated shopper.

Is Grosch free?

Yes! The free tier gives you full access to the core experience: saving recipes, creating grocery lists, and organizing ingredients. Can't get enough? Upgrade to increase your recipe storage.
